The historical ‘Palais de Hollande’ is stituated on the premises of the Dutch Consulate General. The name recalls the more than four-hundred-year history of the building as a residence to Dutch diplomatic representatives in Turkey.

March 25, 2014 The Dutch Consulate General in Istanbul and the Dutch Embassy in Ankara are planning a series of regional business missions in Turkey. The first of this regional missions of the Consulate General will be to Kocaeli, a city not far from Istanbul. The delegation will be in Kocaeli on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 April 2014 and will be led by Consul General Robert Schuddeboom.

February 25, 2014 The Dutch government supports Dutch – Turkish economic relations by offering companies that do business in both countries the Orange Carpet Facility (OCF). This is a simplified visa application procedure for staff members of companies or other entities which have a significant / substantial business relation with the Netherlands, and a demonstrable need to visit The Netherlands regularly. The Orange Carpet Visa Facility Turkey has an updated procedure that will make visa application and issuance quicker. An overview of the benefits of the OCF: The applicant does not have to apply for a visa in person (apart from the requirement to provide biometric information once every five years). Exemption from providing a confirmed flight reservation, insurance, hotel reservation and proof of financial means when applying for a visa. The applicant will be granted a first visa with a validity of 1 year, and second and following visa with a validity up to five years (if the applicant has a good visa - and business track record).
